Automata state transition diagram

Here I have covered my work, the domains I operate in, and projects I have shipped.

I completed my B.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering with a specialization in Cybersecurity from IIIT Kottayam in 2025. Currently, I am working at the Agentic SOC team at Trust Lab, IIT Bombay. I am building agentic AI systems that can autonomously triage alerts and orchestrate defensive responses against the evolving, sophisticated cyberattacks.

Over my academic and professional journey, I have built skills across a few domains:

1. I have the core expertise in backend development and am deeply interested in databases and concurrency. I know the subtleties of Golang well, and also work in Python and JavaScript. A lot of this was shaped by contributing to our college's digital outpass system, which cut down student wait times and reduced the manual load on wardens considerably. Working on such systems has pushed me to think across multiple levels of abstraction, understanding the right context for each part of the design before touching the code

2. My cybersecurity work sits at the intersection of understanding how systems break and applying that to how they should be defended. Capture the Flag competitions pushed me to think independently under pressure. Reverse engineering and web security were the domains I went deepest into. The mindset of thinking like an attacker shapes how I approach security in my current work.

3. Familiarity with Linux. I use Linux daily and recently moved to Debian Trixie with Xfce. What drew me to Debian is its commitment to stability. Its upgrades fix bugs without changing how the system behaves, run well on low-spec hardware, and its philosophy toward free software. It gives us more freedom over our setup than most distributions do and does not make decisions for us.

4. Digital sovereignty: I prefer self-hosting my digital infrastructure to safeguard my information over relying on servers I have no control over. A famous quote about the internet is “If a service is free, the product is you”, this applies from social media to news sites to free antivirus. So for Freedom and digital sovereignty. Self-hosting puts me in the driver's seat over my data, my privacy and my wallet. I have learned a lot tinkering with this over time. More on this in an upcoming blog.
